Oliver
Oliver is a 16 year old French-Romanian teen. He is the sixth son of a big circus family. He learned how to work form a very young age, and has followed his family generational gift for the mediunic arts. Oliver constantly gets visions of the future, and uses his Tarot cards to find possible paths to avoid or encounter such vision. He is very hard working and absorbs information quickly so he can sound a bit arrogant at times. But since he is always seeing the future he is often anxious. He is a very kind soul and is unapologetically himself. His animal totem is a street organ Monkey that helps him pick his cards. Another one of his shamanic abilities is to trap visions into his cards and project them whenever he wants.
Oliver and Sybil will have a very unexpected dynamic, as we learn later on in the story that Oliver was in fact Alanis in a past life - Elora’s long lost love affair. Both girls loved each other dearly but, they haven’t met in other incarnations until now.

Oliver and Sybil don’t really know how to deal with this situation, as they share some of the emotions lived by the two. This makes their interaction really uncomfortable at first. However, as the story progresses they learn how to navigate their feelings, and become really close.

Alanis taught Elora how to go against the norm and follow their hearts and just like Alanis, Oliver is unapologetically himself, and that is something Sybil really likes about him. But in this life Sybil is the one who will teach Oliver to break the rules. He will have to go against his father and the Pendulum in order to help Sybil.
