Jagvir

Jagvir is a 30-year-old man who lives in New Delhi, India, in the mid-1940s. His parents are very conservative, especially when it comes to religious traditions and politics ideology. They are a typical traditional family, which values property and political alliances with the British. However, Jagvir is a rebel son who argues with the family because of their old way of thinking. He then becomes a young musician who fights for equality and love, following the teachings of Gandhi. He is a very expansive young man, spontaneous, a philanderer. He likes physical touching, and he even hugs and kisses people he is not acquainted with. His death happens during a manifestation, in which the British crown sets fire against a peaceful rally.
